The Lomo Element drysuit undersuit uses 200 gram soft polar fleece to provide excellent warmth and insulation. The Element drysuit undersuit is ideal for kayaking, sailing and other surface sports. Heavier weight undersuits can be too hot for kayaking as you are generating body heat through the paddling motion. The weight of this undersuit is just right for winter paddling. The element undersuit is used primarily as an undersuit to wear underneath a drysuit for kayaking or sailing, but it also has multiple uses outside watersports. For example, can be used as an excellent base thermal layer for when you’re out camping, hill walking, fishing etc. Keeping you comfortable and warm. or can even be used for something as simple as lounging around the house. At 200gsm, this fleece drysuit undersuit is classed as a medium weight garment, weighing less than 1.2kg. Making it perfect for allowing you to comfortably still have full range of motion. The fleece is also highly breathable, so when wearing it underneath a drysuit, waterproof jacket or any other item of clothing, you won’t become too hot and sweaty. Featuring a full length two way YKK zip, this makes entering the suit quick and easy. Elasticated wrists, sides and ankles allow for a snug fit, and elasticated foot loops keeping the fleece in place. If you are a man and your drysuit has a relief zip the internal 2 way full length zip with allow you to take a leak without taking everything off. The collar and cuffs on our drysuit undersuit are made from fleece material. Some undersuits use a ribbed material that looks nice and is comfortable but they are so absorbent that even a small amount of water makes them heavy and soaking wet. So our preference is for fleece collar and cuffs on our drysuit undersuits as you don’t end up with a soggy wrist and neck which can make you colder.
