Model Railway Track Riser Incline Slope MDF Piers Support

Product Description Model Railway Track Riser and Elevated Level Support Kits Flexxgenix Ltd offer this excellent set of Model Railway Track Riser kits manufactured from 6mm MDF.  Risers slot together to form a sturdy set of risers or supports to take your track or scenery to a new level. Ideal as a permanent fixture by glueing with PVA wood glue or similar (not supplied) or slotting together as a temporary option during the layout design phase.  Easily and quickly assembled or taken apart. The two vertical pieces slot into a round 55mm diameter base which is drilled with 6 x 3mm holes to fix to your baseboard.  The top of each riser is a rectanglar plinth piece 25mm x 55mm with four 3mm fixing holes in each corner. One vertical side is chamfered at 2 degrees which allows the plinth to be either set parallel with the baseboard or at an incline. It is also possible to stack supports using 3mm bolts, this allows for higher levels and custom sizes. Parts are marked with their respective heights in mm for ease of assembly. Riser sets are chamfered on one side at 2 degrees to assist the plinth element to slope.  There are three options, fixed height,  2 degs slope or greater or less than 2 degs by simple packing.  (see diagram) Current Set Options Riser Set of sixteen piers 2mm – 80mm 2mm*, 4mm*, 6mm*, 10mm**, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, 40mm, 45mm, 50mm, 55mm, 60mm, 65mm, 70mm, & 80mm.
