If you use it only once in a while, it is best to wash it at least once a month. Since towelkets absorb sweat well, they can become a source of stains and odors when used daily. Washing instructions vary depending on the product. Be sure to check the washing instructions. For conspicuous stains, apply undiluted liquid detergent, dab it lightly, and let it sit for a while before washing. If you put your towelket in a laundry net, be careful how you fold them. When folding, make them alternately into mountain and valley folds. By doing this, it will absorb water and detergent evenly, and you can wash it effectively. Unlike towels, it is recommended to use less fabric softener on towelkets. If you use a fabric softener, it will coat the fibers and prevent them from absorbing sweat.
