Global Cultural Heritage – Suwon Hwaseong Jangdae Product Name: World Heritage – Hwaseong JangdaeProduct Size: 145 × 145 × 135 mm (W × D × H) About Hwaseong Jangdae Located at the summit of Paldalsan Mountain in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, Hwaseong Jangdae was built in January 1794 during King Jeongjo’s reign. When the king climbed Paldalsan, he remarked, “This spot, chosen from the highest point of the mountain, is perfect for observing distant places. Its grandeur and openness make it seem as though heaven and earth themselves created this command post.” It is also called Seojangdae (Western Command Post) because it stands on the western side of Suwon Hwaseong Fortress. Please Read Before Assembling This is a DIY wooden assembly kit, not a finished product. The kit does not include paint or coloring. The kit does not include paints for coloring. Parts included: wooden assembly sheets, roof jigs, rubber roof tiles, ridge decorations, ornamental tiles, wood sticks, and adhesive. A 25g wood adhesive is included, but instant glue is recommended for better durability. The rubber material used for the roof cannot be attached with the included wood glue — please use instant or rubber adhesive instead. This model kit lets you recreate the majesty of Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, one of Korea’s most iconic UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
